Since iTunes promotes the legal downloading of music and so on I don't see how getting tv shows through their software could be illegal. Presume you mean via podcasts?

Cant do it with a credit card with an Irish address but i think there is a way using the gift this music thingie. Though you might need the credit card details to set up an account.

What about using a 3v card

As well as itunes, is there anywhere else that it is possible to legally download full episodes of tv programmes, that is available to Irish users.

I wonder when the Itunes movie and tv store will be available to Irish users.

afaik apple do not determine where you are by ip or your address.

it's done by the numbers on the card, so you'll have to have an american credit card, as 3v numbers are deemed to be irish as they are owned by an irish bank.

i doubt the movie and tv store will be available here anytime soon, for example sky - who just paid 20 million for the rights of lost - would be pretty pissed if people could just download them instead of watching them on sky. same goes for rte and other stations and other tv shows.

I think i know what to do.Go on ebay and buy an american gift card and get the person to email you the code. Also i think movie downloads are coming here soon because when apple made the announcement about movie downloads they said it will go international in 2007
