Hi this question is directed @ coolwings but if anyone else knows then fire away.
Does green hobby and model have any italeri kits of lorries and trailers. Im heading to dublin tomorrow and am looking to get one if at all posible. I will be around O Connell street so if there are any places close to there that sell them then great.
    Cheers

Not the answer you will want to hear - I'm afraid.

There are very few plastic kits at Green Hobby right now so if that is mainly what you're looking for skip this time. There is a load of stuff that was delayed before xmas due to storms interfering with freight schedules. And all this is still "in transit" so i expect many model suppliers are in the same situation too.

I was told that marks Models (xmas week I think) was still waiting for Italeri to be delivered at that time, so there were problems there too. It would be worth a tel call to them to see if these deliveries have arrived there yet.

A more positive bit of news is that the Green Hobby sale list is going online sometime tomorrow. (Irish1 (is that right?) got a early bird hot deal today I'm told)
But I can't be more specific at the moment!

BAssassin : No Prob. There will be a total clearout of Hasegawa armour & planes in 1/72th if that's interesting to U. Dunno what the sale reduction is yet, check tomorrow on the sale notice after 10am and I should have it up by then..

Vectra: You know what ... it is poss that those 3 weeks of storms has contributed to your woes. If so most couriers go back on Jan 2 or 3rd, so you might have a "new year surprize" after that :-)

The 18 and 83 buses go from Trinity at College Green and stop almost outside the door of Green Hobby, get off at the Scoil Mologa School on Clareville Road, and look across the road for the Green Marine Building.

We have a half day Saturday the New Year weekend so don't be after 1pm. :D
