    Just wondering how I can gain the right of access to sex and sexuality? Sexuality is not necessarily the same as Lesbian Gay & Bisexual....I'd like to discuss gender orientation.

    Access to the Sex & Sexuality Forum is given to SMods, CMods, Mods and Subscribers, this decision was made by the owners of boards.ie so that the content would not be public and acessible by google and to keep out minors.

    ...and that decision has nothing to do with keeping the really interesting stuff for paying customers :D

    Gender orientation? Why not start a thread on it here and see how it goes. You'll likely get more viewers.

    Since we have no paying customers, obviously it isn't.

    so what's this I found under the subscribers link?

    Paid subscribers to boards.ie can avail of these features:

    * Upload custom avatars (64px by 64px)
    * Increased private message quota (4000 as opposed to 500)
    * Change the tag line under the username
    * Request a username change
    * Access to the albums system (PhotoPost)
    * Access to the blogs system (vBDrupal)
    * Access to the Subscribers forum
    * Access to the Sex / Sexuality forum

    To become a subscriber, you must use the PayPal subscriptions system.

    Scotch mist? etc etc :D

    Subscribers != Customers. Think of it as more of a donation.

    No, it's all true. It's all a big scam to rip people off and the admins are a bunch of liars. You've gotten it out of me. You're an investigative master-mind. Well done.

    Relax dude! I never said it was a scam! and I never said Admin were liars either.

    Maybe I'm missing something here but I simply pointed out that making the Sex & Sexuality forum available only to paying customers, or subscribers, or whatever you want to call the people who pay/donate was a good way to attract 'people who pay'.

    Then you said "we have no paying customers", a semantic argument perhaps, then I cut and pasted the subscriber instructions...

    Sorry if I offended you mate - but you seem a bit sensitive about the issue :eek:

    Methinks if the reason actually had anything at all to do with keeping the interesting stuff for paying users, there would be a lot more than one single boards reserved for subsribers.
