Wii's in Cork

    Does anyone know any stores where a Wii can be bought anywhere in Cork county. A buddy of mine who got shafted with his one and myself are going to try find one tomorrow, no luck in the city today but anywhere in the county that anyone knows of?

    argos.ie is showing up with no stock. Could try ringing game in Mahon Point & Patrick st or Gamestop in Douglas Court & Blackpool.

    I rang a load of XV's today and yesterday to no avail (delivery mid-Jan). Smyth's are not answering their phone, but their website states no delivery until mid-Jan aswell. I was going to try Gamestop today after work, but the thoughts of fighting to get into sodding Douglas/town and getting back out with no guarantee of anything has put me off the whole idea. Think I'll just buy some vodka, 'tis cheaper :p
    Addendum: They have a handful in Game in Mahon Point. Packages are 390 for Wii plus Sports plus any 2 games. Seems to be the going rate. I had to drag myself out of the store, and could only say no to myself on account of there only being 1 game right now that I'd like to play.

    I managed to get a Wii in Game, Patrick St. today around 4.30. I was looking around in there today and just asked the assistant rushing back to the stock room when the next stock of Wii would be coming in, and he said he had a few there now and whetehr he wanted one. so i said y anad he brought one upto the counter. I got t in a bundle with a game of your choice, i got Far Cry (only way you could buy it). Was shocked to get it really, didnt expect to get any before the new year. When i was leaving he said they had about 3 more, and from the queue they were probbaly gone in about 10 minutes, if that.

    Did you happen to find out how many Mahon Point have?

    (trying to figure out what the odds are of me being able to get one in my lunch break tomorrow :( )
