    Released: August 3rd 2007
    Plot:
Jason Bourne races to discover the final mysteries of his past while a government agent tries to track him down after a shootout in Moscow.

It's all about The Science of Sleep for me. Us Europeans who "traditionally have shown we don't mind delays" (quote of the year?) finally get to see it in a month and a half!
Really looking foward to the Fountain too, another film which we have had to wait far too long to see. Sunshine, Zodiac, Grindhouse and Spiderman 3 are all on my to watch list, and I expect great things from Hot Fuzz.

The next installment in Sin City is out next year, isn't it?

Also, Live Free Die Hard, Shrek the Third, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix(after the book I kinda have to) and I guess I'll see Mr Bean's Holiday:p

Inland Empire. Far too long since we've had a David Lynch movie. Check out the typical bonkers trailer.

HOW did Will Smith get cast in I am Legend. Could have been SUCH a good movie. Now its just going to be a horrible CGI fest with a dozen close ups of W.Smiths nike runners. gah.

The SG1 movie is a straight to DVD offer isn't it, with the cinema Stargate movie being a sequel to the original and not connected with the SG1 series.

    That what i heard anyway.

    Nope.
George Lucas and Steven Spielberg have finalised the script for the fourth Indiana Jones movie. And they want cameras to roll in June of this year, in time for a release date of May 2008

Should be a great year for film! Gondry, Fincher and Lynch all bringing out films in early 2007.

I'm also really looking forward to This Is England, Shane Meadow's follow up to Dead Man's Shoes.

Hopefully Paul Thomas Anserson's There Will Be Blood will also be out by the end of 2007 too. PTA + Daniel Day-Lewis = :D

Die hard 4 (well the 1st 3 were class so ive high hopes)
Rocky 6 (im wary of this as he's so old now and 5 was a disgrace)
28 Weeks later (loved 28 days later)

oh and if its released this year the next resident evil movie

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,640 ✭✭✭Gillie

Die Hard 4, Pirates 3, Smokin Aces & Transformers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,592 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

    Particularly looking forward to:

Spider-man 3 - The previous two were excellent, and this one has Venom, so its looking good!
Die Hard 4 - Trailer looks a bit dodge, but Willis proved he still had it in 16 Blocks, so I'm hopeful
28 Weeks Later - Looks like being the year of the Zombie, what with this, I Am Legend and Grindhouse. Cant wait!
Sin City 2 - More of the same will do me nicely!
Zodiac - Because there hasn't been a good gritty detective movie in aaaages.
Letters From Iwo Jima - I loved Flags Of Our Fathers, and Ken Watanabe is the man.
Grindhouse - SHE HAS A MACHINE GUN FOR A LEG.

    Will go to see:
Transformers - with a mixture of dread and hope. Please be good.
The 300 - Trailer looks good, but maybe a little style over substance.
Rocky Balboa - Rocky on the big screen!
Bourne Ultimatum - First two were very enjoyable.
Hot Fuzz - Because I love Simon Pegg.
Pirates of the Caribbean - Just to see how the trilogy ends
Simpsons - Even though I've not watched it in years
Blood Diamond - After The Departed, I've grown to actually like Leo.

And two movies that I was looking forward to this time last year that still havent made it here yet:

For Your Consideration - Christopher Guest! Eugene Levy!
Christmas On Mars - Because Wayne Coyne is the most charismatic man on the planet.

So it looks like a strong year for movies for me. 2006 was full of nice surprises like Children Of Men and The Prestige, lets hope that 2007 can continue on that front too!

    C'mon Snakes On A Plane 2...

What? A man can dream! :D
Actually Samuel L. is in another fim called "Black Snake Moan"... but unfortunately I don't think there are any planes in it... or snakes... :(

Pirates 3, Spidey 3, 300, Bourne Ultimatum, TMNT, Hot Fuzz, Fantastic 4: ROTSS, Transformers looks ok (even if it is Michael Bay), Sin City 2, and Grindhouse looks like a lark.

Darren Arronofsky, David Fincher, Michel Gondry, Quentin Tarantino and Danny Boyle are all bringing out new movies in the first four months of 2007... hooray for everything!! 2007 looks like a half decent year for Hollywood at least...

I'll be going to see most of these:
    Jan: 'The Fountain'
    Feb: 'The Science of Sleep'
March: 'Zodiac', '300' AND 'Sunshine'
    April: 'Grindhouse'
May: '28 Weeks Later' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End'
June: 'Live Free or Die Hard'
    November: 'American Gangster'
December: 'Alien vs. Predator 2'
