Aer Lingus Sale?

Does anyone know if Aer Lingus usually have a January sale?

i'm hoping to book tickets to New York for April, and their current 'sale period' only allows travel until 31st March.

Just wondering whether I should just cut my losses now (as price has already gone up by 100 eur in the last few weeks) and pay the €550 per person now or whether I should hold out for a sale?

I really wouldn't be depending on a sale, I'm afraid.

Their "sale" is already in full swing. You won't beat their current prices.

April is shoulder season, if anything prices generally go up, rising then in high season.

Anyway you could travel before the end of March?

I agree that prices will rise in April coming into easter and then rising more into the high summer season. In the current sale I got 2 return flights to Los Angeles in Febuary for €350 each, which cannot be beaten imho.

Thanks all for responses..... guess I will look at booking now then!

Just one more question you might have answer to.... if I book an aer lingus flight from Dublin which stops in Shannon for 1.5 hours, are you let off the plane for that time or do you have to just stay on the plane for the full stopover?

You'll be getting off the plane...avoid if at all possible, even if it means paying a little more for a direct flight.
