I just finished it and I wanted to ask if anyone else had a problem with the Wiimote locking while they were playing? every so often (moreso towards the end of the game) it just went completely out of my control and my character would just move randomly and fire at will. and during all of the jeep sections (aside from the first one) it would lock up and the jeep wouldn't move at all. once or twice I had to just give up and turn it off and go back to the save game. I know it's only a licensed port but if it is a bug with the game I'm kinda dissapointed.

ive played it and found the controls awful, i just cannot get used to them, its faaar to sensitive, impossible to actually aim properly cause if you go slightly to much to the left or right your character starts doing a 360 turn! but i have noticed that the controls lock for no reason, the character would just freeze for a second but then come back and do all the movements i was doing while he was frozen, so basically the character has a spaz attack on screen!

Its a great game on xbox360 but the control scheme just doesnt work on wii.

I really have to say that i think that in general the controls for CoD3 are very good on the wii. Before buying the game i had read a couple of treads giving out about the controls and was about to buy a different game. Could it be an issue with the sensor bar for some people?? I even had a couple of mates over last night to play the wii for the first time and they also agreed that the controls were good.

However, i have noticed that the controls do lock up sometimes and the game needs to be reset in order to work properly again (didn't happen during the jeep sections though). Which leads me to ask whether you have to watch the film-like sequence everytime you reset the game??

^ another thing I forgot to mention - is there Any way to skip those?

to clarify, I do think the controls are pretty damn good otherwise, just the lockup thing tends to happen at the worst times (when 3 nazis rush me, or when something cinematic is happening on the battlefield and I wanna watch).

Happens to me as well. It seems to happen when there is a lot of action on screen and the wii is loading a lot of information to the ram. It's nothing more than bad programming. The game is just a port of the PS2 version with Wii controls added and hammered out for launch.

Happens often. I find pulling out the Nunchuck and plugging it back in again solves the problem.

had a go at a friends house
have to admit to start i found the controls terrible but after quiet a while they get suprisingly simple
he mentioned nothing about the remote locking though
    sorry to hear about that

had the same problem of locking too. one of the most frustrating games ive played yet on the wii and i love cod games. i hope this gets sorted before Metroid comes out. However when i moved the senser bar from below my tv to the top the locking didnt happen so much.
