OMG Pardew must be sick, 60 seconds from getting a win in his first game and the worst decision I have seen in years by an official has robbed him.

A Fulham player handled the ball and he gave a free kick against Charlton!!!

That linesman should be demoted for the rest of the season seriously how he could have got it so wrong is just mad.

Didn't Charlton's last win against Blackburn come as a result of a dodgy free kick they were awarded in the last minute. Football Karma.

Jesus that was a sickener for Charlton. Bitter pill to swallow. Let's just hope that their Premiership status isn't decided on a mistake like that that was out of their hands.

Let's put things into perspective here, it was a bad decision but the ball was still flung into the box from an angle 40 yards from goal, and from the resultant scramble Fulham scored.

The linesman didn't "rob" them, he made a bad decision and due to shocking defending of a set-piece, which should be bread and butter stuff to them, Fulham scored and drew them game.

It wasn't a bad decision because there was no decision to make he simply did rob them because instead of either awarding a freekick or throw to Charlton he handed Fulham with an opportunity which they scored from.

As Jivin says, defending the resulting ball into the box wasnt out of their hands.

But being put in the position where they had to defend the possibility of conceding was.

And as i was told when i made the observation that 30 secs is supposed to be automatically added for a sub yet wasnt in the Liverpool game - "thats football, deal with it"

Who's to say Liverpool were'nt about to go up and score? who's to say that the cross that was on it's way in when the ref blew his whistle in the Chelsea game wasnt going to drop onto Drogbas head?

People make mistakes like this, the fact that it was a bigger one than nornal doesnt change that,

The linesman robbed Spurs in the Utd match 2 seasons ago, but everyone got over it.

I totally agree JT, I hate the way people throw words like "robbed" etc. into sentences to make them looks like victims of a feckin crime! The linesman made an error, he didn't do it on purpose, he did it because he is a human. We all make fúck ups every now and again.

Stop whinging and get on with it. It happens all of the time in football. This is not aimed at you irish1, but at fans and media in general. Couldn't believe it when I saw this on RTE teletext at first.
