I realise that there are more things to consider when contemplating laser eye surgery other than the price (possible risk, long term side effects, etc.) but can anyone give me a rough idea of what I could expect to pay per eye for surgery. My mother swears she heard that somewhere in Dublin is now offering the surgery for as little as €900 per eye. Anyone else hear about this? Who is offering that price?

I lived in India a few years ago and my dad (a VERY nervous man when it comes to decisions like that) got it done. And with regards to quality, you will not get it done in a cleaner, more professional place. He was thrilled with it! My aunt and uncle then flew to india and got it done too - cheaper than the price of getting it done here, including flights. And they got a holiday out of it too! Definately the way to go.

Place in St Stephens Green, I think, does it at a good price.

BUT, it depends on how bad your sight is.

Also, do your research, as some laser eye surgery gives you night-blindness (according to research carried out by the British and French armies).

Just wondering what is the cost of getting each eye done in India & where abouts did they get it done. I'm going to be in India for a while soon.
Also what did they do for aftercare?

What? In the park? Doesn't sound too professional to me.
