Yup finally got myself sorted out.

    Heres my setup.

I have a 26inch hdtv up on the wall, and my xbox and pc and underneath and connected to each other.

I am running the net from xbox of my pc, grand.

    Now I have two problems.

One is how do I go about looking at images, listening to music and watching films on my xbox from my pc? When I bought my new pc I didnt go out and buy another copy of windows xp, I just used the copy I'd already purchased. But this seems to cause problems as it says that my windows is not genuine. So it seems im a bit hung out here and was wondering if anyone knows what to do.

SEcondly, why doesnt my mic seem to work =) I try sending people voice messages and when i playback i cant hear anything, strange.

    Thanks in advance.

With your microphone, make sure it is a; plugged into the controller and b;the little switch is turned to the microphone image and is not muted. Also, make sure the volume is up and you are listening to the headset and not the speakers to hear the playback. Simple stuff I know, but that's all I can think could be wrong (excluding a broken mic).

Won't necessarily work with Windows XP in hindsight but there is a way around it. Search back a couple of pages and look for the streaming divx to 360 thread or something like that. You won't have too far to look because it's not long gone past this page.

As far as thats concerned ring MS and ask them if they can make it genuine, tell them you just had to re-install windows, as long as you still have the code you should be fine! If not I may have a solution... thats fully (il)legal! PM me!
