Depends on what grade cable you are using and how well shielded it is. For high grade well shielded satellite cable you should get away with upwards of 25-30 meters without problems.

I'm currently operating successfully off 20 metres of rg59 (much of which is outdoors!) connected to another 5 metres or so of moderate quality sat cable (indoors).

Not sure how long the above set up will work/function. I'm just using it as an example merely to show that it must be possible to do a run of at least a similar distance with proper cable.

B&Q Liffey Valley selling a 100meter role of satellite cable for €41, good value, but I wasn't able to figure out what grade it was.

Satellite cable is 24 euro (up from 19 just recently) for a 100m roll in MEW (electrical wholesalers) beside Lidl in Leixlip. Don't ask me what grade. I've used about a 60 metre run and it works fine.
