Anyone had to return anything to Nintendo in the UK?

    You might remember I lost sound in Zelda but other games were fine, well I've since found there isn't any sound in gamecube games through the wii either. Given that Zelda was developed primarily as a cube title I think there must be a link.
    I tried my console on another telly and had the same problem, and tried my Zelda on another wii and it worked perfectly.
    The last time I spoke to Game they said there was no point returning the console as they didn't have a replacement to give me.
    When I spoke to Nintendo they told me to ship the console to them, they'd evaluate it and either return it or send a replacement.
    So after all that my question is has anyone had to send anything back to Nintendo directly and if so how long have they taken to return your cube/ds/wii whatever?

    interesting theory that because zelda was made for the gamecube that it went wrong
    honestly though i wouldnt think so

    anyways i personally have never returned anything to nintendo (or had to) but i have heard of people doing so with no problems
    you'll be grand though if its a faulty product Game should either replace or refund you (thank you leaving cert business, sale of good and services act 1980)
    I'd just wait out GAME instead of going to nintendo all the same
    new shipment should be in soon enough no?
