    1) Mac board
    2) Illegal downloading is bad and asking for links will get you a one way ticket to the ban-lands.

He never mentioned what he was downloading. Azureus is pretty good and should fly on your system! BushTorrent is a pretty good search engine as is mininova. Just look around and make sure what you are downloading is freeware....

He (assuming since the name is enda) hasn't mentioned what programs he wants, they could be all open source or abandonware. Torrents aren't illegal it depends on the content they hold.

True, though I always find the phrase "decent programs" to be suspicious :) No harm in letting new people who always enthuiastically read the charter know the rules, anyhow.

Most torrent and P2P clients for Windows have Mac versions too, but if you are downloading (legal) programmes with BT/P2P, chances are the windows versions will be easier to find (assuming there is a Mac version of the same) so installing Windows onto your Mac Pro with Bootcamp or Parallels Desktop will save you some bother.

In other news.. you are one lucky bastid to get a Mac Pro for Christmas, I would love to have one, but I cant afford one <_<
