Hi I am pretty sure I will get a WII but I was wondering about the noise it makes and load times. I really hated the noise from the PS2 and the load times were awful on loads of games. What is the WII like for this stuff?

Noise is minimum. The only game I have that has an actual "Loading" screen is Red Steel and its at least less tham 8 seconds.

its pretty quiet compared to the xbox 360 and PS2. Fans only seem to kick in, when the game is being loaded. otherwise browsing the shop or web etc, its pretty much silent

    Machine is very quiet.
Only time it makes any real noise is when you turn it on, off, or put a game in.
And that's only the console moving the laser into place.
Other than that it's not even possible to compare it to the noise of the original PS2.And loading times for me have been great in games.
But loading up channels can sometimes take slightly too long for your liking.

my wii makes a dull click noise when it goes back to the menu, and that multi wii screen loads.
apart from that it's silent, and the xbox 360 beside it sounds like a 747 everytime i turn it on. noisy bugger!

It makes less noise than the GC and less again than the PS2, and loading times are pretty much nonexistent in the games that I've played so far...

Yeah as was said it's pretty much silent excepting when you resent, or put in a game, or return to the main menu or whatever. Only played Zelda and Sports, but loading times are tiny to nonexistant in those at least.
