Funny smell off my Goose!

Hi guys! I bought a young fresh goose off a farmer about 7lbs in weight. I'm getting a strong smell from the goose which I havent gotten before from other geese. It looks fresh but worried about the smell .. anybody know if this smell is normal in younger geese?
