partion gone missing ??

    hi just set up a raid and in windows set to partions a 10gb 1 for windows and 590gb for storage.but after windo0ws installed i can only see the 10gb drive ??

    had a look in computer management and cant find still any ideas??

    lemme guess striped 64k ?

    restart, and during windows installation press f6 to install the raid drivers from your mobo maker, and not the ****ty windows ones.

    This has to be done by floppy. Im also guessing your using the uli raid controller !

    Lok on ebay for a proper raid controller. As almost evey onboard one i have come across has problems.

    i did use the uli 1s wtf aww not again this is the third format i gota do in 4days :)

    is there any way i can find this missing partition??

    and there is a silicon image chip on that i have a silicon image chip on my mobo but why does dfi not reccomend people to use it ???

    Andy mate, Because its not easy to setup. Simple as.

    Apon installation did you press f6 ? to install raid drivers ?

    Like i said, floppy needed !

    yes i did im not a ****ing idot like pressed f6 came up said press s then did that then it started reading the floppy drive then then came up with the drivers.

    Ah i just seen you have a cfx board. Lots of problems with this board and raid.

    TBH mate your best to go to dfi-street !
