I cannot seem to get my Xbox to connect to or detect my wireless network unless the security is turned off. I have been trying to use WPA.
I forwarded the correct ports already but still no joy :(

The Modem I am using in the netopia 2247 (The silver eircom one)

I used a linksys earlier today but the wireless was crappy. But on that I could connect with encryption on...

Any and all ideas on this subject would be appreciated!

My xbox just won't detect my network when I have that on!

Come on somebody! I have been trying or 2 days...I just need some fresh perspective. Maybe I am missing something obvious?

have you put in your wep key on the 360 or if you have wpa on did you put in your phrase on the 360 ? also have you the ssid set up right etc...

i have my 360 set up and wpa on now as i had it set up with wep before and i found it alot easier to set up wpa.

    I fixed it!

:D The box was sending both a WPA and WPA2 signal. I told it to only send WPA and viola!

I knew it was something simple

    Thanks everybody.
