Right, so I bought a wireless router today (Linksys WAG354G) from PC World. I installed the router but I want to get into my default gateway (http://192.168.1.1/) to try and sort out my wireless network for my Wii 2moro but it asks for a password. I dunno the pass, I tried admin:admin and just clicking enter but they didn't work. Can anyone try to help me out?

    *This is what comes up*

    ASAP, eh?

Well the default pass and user is admin and admin.
So you should try resetting your router by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds with a paperclip.
    Should work then.

If not, the model number you gave us is probably not the same as the router.
    Then, try
    admin:1234
    BLANK:admin
    admin:BLANK

    Seriously, Read The Fabulous Manual:

    9. I forgot my password, or the password prompt always appears when I am saving settings to the
    Gateway.
    • Reset the Gateway to factory default by pressing the Reset button for 10 seconds and then releasing it. If
you are still getting prompted for a password when saving settings, then perform the following steps:
    1. Access the Gateway’s web-based utility by going to http://192.168.1.1 or the IP address of the
Gateway. Enter the default username and password admin, and click the Administrations =>
    Management tab.
    2. Enter a different password in the Gateway Password field, and enter the same password in the
second field to confirm the password.
    3. Click the Save Settings button.

Also some previous versions of Firefox had issues accessing router config pages correctly. Try IE if your accessing it through firefox and not getting anywhere. Probably not an issue if your web browsers upto date though.

    Yeah "fabulous" manual

    Still won't work
Would it have anything to do with the ISP?

Hi Antamojo, I'm thinking of getting one of those routers today ( also for my Wii ) but I'm a bit wary, sounds like a lot of work.

Could you please tell me how you reconfig'ed the eircom settings to get it to work?.
