The Residents are back - this time bigger and better than ever. Yes, bigger - not through Xmas puddings and Turkeys but now there's 6 of us. Joining Giles Armstrong & Simon Conway for this night will be Rian Ryan, Barry Donovan, Dan Power & Eddie Brennan - the first two notwithstanding, some of the best DJs in Ireland right now and they ever disappoint at Electric City or Electric Shock.

We're going for a bite to eat beforehand and going to draw straws on who plays when and what time so no set times for this week. It's a pot-pourri of pot luck - there could be cosmic at 2.30 and techno at 11. But it's Xmas so it's no big thing. Everyone gets 40 minutes on the night - no glory hunters!

We'd like to thank everyone who has played and come down to the club or to the Electric Shock parties this year. It's been a year of two halves for us in 2006 and while we had our fill of Traffic, the chance to move to Wax came at just the right time and it has been great to see the club back hitting the heights of the Metropolitan days. It's thanks to the heads who come down each week to check out the music that this has happened so the biggest thanks goes to you who have made the effort to come out on Thursday nights through the year. Your support is what makes the club what it is.
