Wii help required

Hey folks, slight problem, got myself a Wii yesterday, was playing it up in my flat in Uni last night, set up everything in accordance with that tv etc. Anyway, back home now for Christmas and I brought the Wii with me, i'm trying it on a different tv now. The Wii turns on and all that, but its not reading the controllers, not just the motion sensor, but any button at all. Any reason for this, could the motion sensor bar be f**ked or is it cause i've switched to a different tv?

    Help would be appreciated asap!

Have you tried to sync the remote again?

Open the flap at the front of the console and press the red button, open the battery compartment and press the button in that too.

Just to clarify, try to make it as "In unison" as possible when syncing them.
And I know for many people it doesn't matter but sync them in order of which Wiimote is 1st 2nd 3rd etc player.
