Hey has anyone done or is doing the Degree in Forestry in WIT?
I am mainly concerned with the job prospects at the end of it - I am considering the degree but dont wanna spend 3 yrs at somethin where I wont get a job at the end!

I havent done it yet but I've applied for entry in September. As far as I know the job prospects arent great but you really have to make what you can out of the job. I'm studying natural science with the Open University right now so I'm hoping that that will help me get in somewhere in the industry.

Have a look at www.prospects.ac.uk which has some good info on a forestry career. The industry as far as I know is continuously growing in Ireland and theres always good opportunities to travel with it.
