My mobo is only seeing one stick of ram at a time. They both work in the board individually but when they are in at the same tim eit only uses one of them. Any ideas?

Did you try swapping them around in the DIMM sockets?

Are they both the same memory type (PC 100 or whatever)?

I take it you're not trying to simultaneously use DDR and DDR2 RAM at the same time? Such a set up doesn't work.

Are you overclocking by any chance?

A friend of mine has this problem with his pc too. I ran memtest both sticks passed fine, As they are matched dimms.

I tried a bios update, full reinstall. But nothing will get them both to work together. They work fine in one of my machines. But not his. Weird one this.

YEah it is quite strange. I still have not got them working together yet.
