Laptop for ~ €800 ( 64bit, dual core ) : Please advise

    Hi guys, I'm looking for a laptop with very specific requirements. My work is on multicore ray tracing and my main workstation will be a quad core beast ( as soon as it arrives - curse you Dell )

    Must haves:
    64bit, dual core - AMD or Intel
    1GB RAM
    Linux compatible as possible


    Would like to have (but not strictly necessary)
    NVidia chipset for graphics
    Trackpoint mouse
    Middle mouse button
    DVD burner


    I've previously used an IBM T40 and loved it, but that's gone. I'm currently looking at this Lenovo http://laptopsdirect.ie/Lenovo_3000_N100_Laptop_TY06XUK/version.asp
    but will consider anything else. I hear the battery life isn't spectacular.
