Holy sh*t has anyone seen this mini JSX yet. I know that it wont sound like a full blown JSX, esp with an 8" speaker, but if it can simulate the sound of a proper JSX for recording then I want one!!! :D

Yeah, saw it a few weeks ago. Dont have high expectations for it tbh. And it will be pretty pricey.

Slightly off topic/ Hey Voodoo, you tend to be the Ibanez expert around here, dont suppose youve heard anything about the necks made by Legacy One Guitars? Im thinking of putting a custom project together.

Ive been watching the work of that guy. He's an amatuer guitar builder TBH, has very little experience. Youre taking a chance, depending on the price and how fussy you are, it may or may not be worth it.

Rich Harris (a fairly knowledgeable Ibanez collector/dealer) will be reviewing one of his guitars shortly. I'll fill you in with his observations if you like.

    That's a nice track.

I'd love to try that Valveking Royal 8 too, no price of that up on thomann yet. Something about tube amps in small packages really excites me, in that I'd love to try 'em out, and see what they're capable of.

I'd say there'll be a nice sound off that. The full-size JSX is amazing.

The big JSX is supposed to be great alright, and not just a high-gain type amp. Its a good time to buy an amp, theres a lot of selection whether you want big or small, cheap or boutique..

I think if this mini-jsx fell into the E300 range, i'd definitely check one out. From the clip it seems you can get some nice sounds out of it, but its just WAY over priced for a simple, chinese made amp IMO.

With only an 8" speaker, the sound won't be exactly earth shatteringly brilliant.

The Valve King Royal 8 is up on www.musicstore.de for E171.84, which could be a good alternative to the Mini JSX.

I've heard some very good things about the Valve King range of amps, so I'd nearly get one myself.
