    Yes (Discussion of Ep 7+).

My favourite new show of the season, along with "Dexter". As an idea, it sounded poor to me but the execution is great with some real winning characters. Hiro just rocks!

Sorry, my search skills leave a lot to be desired. I won't go to that thread though cause I'm only on episode 3 and I don't possess the ability to ignore spoilers.

Great show though, the music is excellent too, very haunting.

Watched two eps, didn't like the show in general but one thing that really got to me was that internet stripper/hooker burd in it.

As a rule I hate anything where a woman starts stripping but then doesn't follow thru. Either just leave the sex aspect out of it altogether or instead show us something decent. I don't really need all this half-hearted 'ooh I almost saw a boobie' rubbish.

Top class stuff ! Lost-meets-X Men-meets Silence of the Lambs. Although I do find the Peter Petrelli character a pain in the butt the actor isn't very good either but other than that it's a crackin' show.

Started to watch it just before christmas and am up to episode 11 now. I think it's brilliant.
Hiro is such a great character.

Yeah I got a load of this over the Xmas break. Godd stuff. I've seen up to 11 also. I like the way the story handles the 'powers' that the characters have it's not just, "No-one can know, I must get a new Identity and tights!". I'm liking the Hiro character too, can't wait to find out about the sword and the dinosaur painting?!? Anything interesting that might have been missed?

Alas no more until the end of Jan or so...

I retract that. Dexter is the best TV at the moment. In fact, imo, best TV ever. Better than Sopranos. Another great great recommendation by the folks on boards.

Yep, Heroes as it stands comes a second best to the phenomenal first series of Dexter!

I feel the same way but i have stopped saying it, one of my best mates only started watching them about 3 weeks ago and i remember thinking to myself *lucky bastard every episode of dexter with no breaks hes going to love it*
but as it turns out myself and my other mates who have seen dexter had over hyped it, he thinks its ok/good but we made it out to be sooo much better he was disappointed when he finally saw it.

Heroes i have to say i watch it but i don't relay get it, then again i didn't much like x-men comics or tv series. was never much into batman superman or any superhero thing relay except maybe "Gigiantor" :)
Its a good show i like the way its a real version of the concept of superheroes tho. i just don't think i will like it as much when the mystery is gone and they all know one another and are friends, what the day to day standalone/filler episodes in season 2 are going to be like - thats what i cant figure out. To me it seems they can not possibly lose because of the powers they have.

Clare = Cant be harmed so sh can be distraction
Peter = no matter how powerful there enemy is he can just absorb there powers
Hiro - Any problems he can just time travel and stop the event before it occours

I'm WELL into Dexter now and presently going through cold turkey with no new episodes of it for another few weeks. Same with Heroes and Prison Break. Damn season breaks.

BBC Two is showing Heroes in early 2007.

    http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds39785.html

BBC Two has acquired the UK terrestrial rights to Heroes, one of the break-out hits of the current US television season.

The critically acclaimed cult hit follows the story of people scattered around the world who wake up with superhuman powers - and gradually realise that the fate of mankind is in their hands.

The UK pay TV rights to the NBC show have already gone to Sci Fi, part of NBC Universal's global networks unit. Sci Fi will begin airing the show in January; BBC Two will start the terrestrial run after it airs on pay TV.

"We're really looking forward to bringing this innovative and compelling fantasy drama to a terrestrial television audience later next year," said BBC Two controller Roly Keating.

Sue Deeks, head of series programme acquisition at BBC Television, called Heroes an "an intriguing, intelligent and irresistible drama."
