I haven't seen a topic about IE's 2007 timetable which has been delayed until the 14th of January (sorry if this is a repost)

Finally we see the hourly Cork trains.

Cork - Dublin: 5:15, 6:30 then every hour until 20:30 (except 8:30 which is a railcar connecting at Mallow to the train from Tralee). Journey time of 2:45/2:50.

Dublin - Cork: every hour from 7:00 to 21:00, again 2:45/2:50 and the 18:30 to Tralee still has a railcar connection to Cork from Mallow.

Tralee sees 8 services from Dublin (and last possible departure from the capital is now 20:00 instead of 18:30).

Last time I went from Cork to Dublin it only took 2.35 hours. That was that damn 8.30 train with the trip to Mallow then connection to Mallow train.

Does this mean the fancy new trains are finally in operation on the Cork-Dublin line? :)
