Cowon iAudio X5 Owners... Power supply question

Hi just wondering what kind of plug adapter came with your X5. Is it a regular 3 prong plug or is it one that can be transformed into a 2 prong.

I'm involved in a dispute with a shop who basically called me a liar today in a crowded store. I say that the charger that I left in with the faulty x5 is the one that came in the box, they say its not and it would have caused the unit to blow (even though they are both the same rating )

So will all you owners out there do me a massive favour and have a look at the plug on the end of your adaptor.

    Thanks in advance.

Mine is a regular 3 pin plug. In fairness though you could get different replies in this respect as manufacturers can change suppliers for adaptors from time to time - accessories like this tend to be outsourced.

That is exactly my point that I put to the manager of the shop, and he maintained that these only shipped with the one that transformed from 3 to 2 pins.

Do you know who deals with Iaudio in Ireland?

We sell them now again in Harvey Norman (Dundalk) and they come with power supplies that have standard 3-pin plugs that fit Irish sockets without any adapter. What store are you dealing with? The manager is full of crap saying that they ONLY ship with power supplies with socket adapters as that's clearly untrue.

I'd just like to say that I got my refund in the end. Only thanks to incredible customer service from the supplier to Cowon in Ireland, Sharptext.

They sorted the whole situation out for me, when I went back into the shop the manager who I dealt with before was as nice as pie to me, to almost the extent of a$$-licking.

So, well done again Sharptext. Its good to see that customer service is still alive and well in Ireland.
