Problem with Sony MHC-ZX70

    Hi,

    I've a Sony MHC-ZX70 system. It's a hi-fi unit, with a 5 cd/DVD changer. I haven't used it for a while (got a new sound system), but when I try and use it now, it's giving me problems.

    The CDs and audio are fine, but when I try to play a DVD it gives problems. It seems not to recognise the disk being in the system at all, or else it gives an error on screen of C:13:00

    I've searched online for any info, but can't find any. The unit itself is quite old (bought around 98). It's a great system, but I'm not sure what I can do. The cost of any repair (if needed) might be more than buying a new system.

    Any ideas/comments?
