I signed up for a new service on the the smyths website to tell me when the wii is in stock... and as i got my wii last night i thought id share this info...

Smyths Toys Jervis Street:Small quantities of wii consoles will be 
available in stores after 6pm today.Strictly first come first served.

Funny, I just went onto the website, and the text-when-available service isn't available on there now for the consoles, but it has due date as 22/12/06 for all the shops...

I would say there getting the delivery in today sometime and start selling them at 6pm or even sell a few at 6 lol

The money won't be in my account till tomorrow and I'm skint otherwise. Hope they still have some in the morning! I've already got one, but my dad wants to get one for my siblings (and himself!)

was in there today. the wii display guy told me they were getting a new shipment in but to make sure at the desk. when i asked there they said they weren't getting any in. trying to call them now but i can't get an answer

I just rang them and they denied this.
You can still try if you want but they said they won't have them till
after xmas, I rang a few places and all said the same.
I am thinking about checking on my way home but I don't hold too much hope.

in the west, just got a text from Claremorris, Mayo Smyths and they will have Wiis first come first served after 6, just thought Id let you know sice I am not really interested because of lack of games, cheaper after christmas.

I was just looking on the site again, and they've all changed from "Stock due 22/12/06" to "Out of Stock"

i subscribed to all dublin branches of smyths yesterday,using the text services and got replys from them all saying wii in stock small supply after 6 this evening,first come first served.

i just got a call from someone that went in to queue for the six o'clock ones in jervis st only to be told they were sold out. she rang befor going in and was told they would be going on slae at six

I rang yesterday about a Nintendo DS which someone i know needs as a present, SMYTHS BLANCH told me they have a Nintendo delivery coming in 2moro....i didnt ask if there was Wii's, but i bet there will be!!
