A New Story has been laid out for this race and the connections are very sweet on its chances of winning it 14/1 at present.

Lads, heading to Leopardstown on the 26th - very big racing fields, so probably keep on the each ways apart from the big one. Any ones to watch let me know.

Kings Glen should run a good race in Leopardstown. The last I heard it was registered run on the 27th but I've also heard they might end up sending it to Limerick so keep an eye out for it. I expect it to do well in Aintree in April when being sent over. I've a thread created about this horse so if you look back over old threads you'll find it. One for the notebook, with very high expectations of it coming from the Carberry yard.

Kings Glen is now entered in Limerick.

A New Story was 16/1 with Boylesports yesterday, he's 12s with the sponsors. Surely great value at 16s, conditions will suit him.

Blueberry Boy goes on the 26th,did not seem to stay 2 mile 4 furs last time out in what was a decent race, drops back to 2mile 1 fur and would have to have a huge chance.

Kerryhead windfarm is still well treated over fences. Not sure if I'd trust his jumping in such a competitive big field handicap tho.

Is hourigan planning on running both kerryhead and a new story?

I didn't think there was much wrong with Kerryhead's jumping last time out. Did I miss something? Thought it ran a great race to come second considering it was off the bridle for a short while a long way out.

Anyone any opinion on Oulart. I think he was 2nd in the Irish National and jumped badly all the way round. Has he run this year? 25-1

Wouldn't be too keen on Oulart for this. His best form ,when winning pertemps final and coming second in Irish National has been on good ground, not the traditional leopardstown christmas meeting bog.

He won at this meeting before but that was off a low mark in a hcap hurdle, i think he'll be better in the spring
