Today in PLO, I flopped the nut broadway straight on a two-tone board.

This is not amazing in itself, whats actually amazing is that it stood up until the river as the best hand, and I won the pot.

I think this truly represents a beacon of hope for all PLO players out there.

I was playing 6-card Omaha8 last week in a home game. (damn whoever here suggested it)

I get dealt Ks10sQQ23

And flop comes Qs9s4x

After the customary raise, reraise and all in I get that feeling that somehow my friend is going to turn over AsXs and get me on the turn or river.

But no!!!!!! He's got no spade draw and something like A23568. He was just pissed and didn't fold it. Any high card I get the lot, if the board pairs I get the lot, if a spade comes I'm guaranteed half the pot.

Somehow, two low non spades fall and he takes everything.

Nothing in the history of the world has put me on tilt as successfully.
