It was sad to see the news of Joe Barbera's death, of Hanna Barbera fame. He brought us all many happy moments and many great characters in the golden age of cartoons. He always preferred the hand drawn ones compared to the computerised ones. He believed the computers took away some of the true character of the individuals in cartoons. Computerised cartoons do a lot, but they have removed some of the art and the creativity and care that a hand drawn cartoon had.

New I'd find this somewhere, and if I had time, I'd have posted it a few days back. Definately a great of animation, always loved Tom & Jerry. Then as I got older it as onto Scooby-Doo, small bit of the Jetsons, bit of the Flinstones aswell. Couldnt go wrong with much of his stuff. Just please dont say he did Wacky Races aswell cos then my respect for him will go sky-rocketing.

    RIP Joe
