Hong Kong/China pointers being badly sought!

    Hi folks,

    Got an great deal on flights to Hong Kong for next June, going for two weeks, hoping to go to China for some of the time. Just looking for tips on best places to head, travel options etc....

    If you are on limited time in China, Guilin and Yangshuo are a short enough hop from HK. Fantastic limestone landscape, Li river tours and activities in Yangshuo - like mountain biking or playing (very competitive) table tennis with the locals!!

    ..but if you heading further north, try to get a flight to Beijing, it's an awesome city, you could easily spend a week there between the Great Wall, Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and general wanderings.
