I am getting ski multiroom and have been told that you have to have the boxes connected to a telephone line all the time . The wife isn't very happy with the thoughts of even more cables in the house. Does anyone know where you can get reasonabley DECT wireless extensions and do I need 1 for each sky box ?

Another product you might consider is a mains based extender, I have seen these in Armstrong electronics

Desktop PC Boards discount code on https://www.satellite.ie/ is boards.ie

You could try Peats or Maplin also. One For All used to do the mains one, not sure if they do anymore, as the ones we get from them now are DECT. But they seem to be very good, I have used them in a few places with no issues. I don't know how hard/easy it is to get extra secondary units though.
