I haven't heard anything about this. Surely it can't be true.

This vicious rumour began when someone spotted a local barman carrying a pineapple, a bottle of blue curaçao and a packet of bendy straws...

Ah you see its the bendy staws, they cause confussion everywhere you go!

During my cocktail-bar-in-ardee investigation I did find out there is a Polish bar opening. When i asked in what way is it Polish? Is it only for Polish people? Are other nationalities excluded from drinking there? Surely thats illegal?

The response i got was, "I dunno, some Polish dude owns it"

Polish dudes of Ardee rejoyce, you are the talk of the town!!!!!

    I love Ardee

There is a new Polish food shop in Ardee. It's called Sklep Polski.

I think it is open, well they have food on the shelves and i've also seen people inside.

Back to this cocktail bar. Looks like we've come to a dead end. I could just have a walk down town and have a look. The person who said it to me in the first place said it was on Market street, as Ardee is a line of streets that join to form one big street i cannot actually tell you were Markey street is.

    Golly.

My friends and I are going to go on a drinking expedition to find out. If the cocktail bar is not located, we will stop in a random pub (which ever it is when we decide to give up), order cocktails and this will then become Ardee's first cocktail bar!

I will report further! Which lucky pub will it be?

    It is open.

Back to this cocktail bar. I saw it today. It's called Tribeka, and it's where The Nest and The Arches used to be. Most likely, it will be similarly successful, i.e., not.
