I can't see any hands that you're beating here apart from the QQ. Every big pair has you crushed, and any smaller pairs are unlikely to be pushing on a board as scary as that.
Why are you thinking of calling?

On the turn there is no good reason I was thinking of calling.
I was thinking what could he put me on that can call him (and be behind) if he flopped a set after the ace fell.

I would like to know what people would do on the flop in this situation.

I would have 4bet preflop. Flop is fine, turn is a fold obv. You can raise flop if villain is very donkish but against any sort of decent opponent, calling is standard.

I think you played it quite well. Sometimes flops and turns suck.

It was a retarded call. My only reason for it was that I had another hand going on at an other table so didn't have time to think - all I had in my head is that his betting didn't make much sense as he insta pushed the turn.

I was in position. A raraise from the SB usually means a big hand. I'm more likely to get paid by TT/JJ/QQ if a low flop comes over pushing preflop. After seeing his re-raising range now I would defiantly repop it preflop.

ah sorry I read the position wrong....mea culpa

it's quite ironic that you have a thread going on regarding your reraising range as well!

(a little too ironic, yeah I really do think)

anyway I think we all learnt something here today
