Multiple Moniotors

I'm looking to upgrade from a single 19'' LCD and 17'' CRT to 3 19'' LCDs and one 17'' CRT. I'd be happy though just to have the three LCDs, the CRT would only be used on occasion.

My question is, running a Gigabyte 7600GT with two DVI ports, how do I do this? What adapters/software/drivers do I need and/or is it even possible?

    Opinions appreciated
    Thanks

    S

Option 1) Multiple graphics cards - will net all 4 displays

Option 2) Matrox TripleHeadToGo allows you to spawn three display from one port - will net 3 displays if not 4 with the spare DVI port.

Option 3) Specialist graphics card with multiple display outputs.

Option 2 is the second easiest option, option 3 will mean changing your graphics card card.

Option 1 is the easiest but also the most tricky it depends on how many PCI-e ports you have in the system that can take a second graphics card if it cannot then a PCI card is your best bet to give yourself 4 display outputs. Do you know what kind of motherboard you have ?

I was thinking I would go for the TripleHeadtoGo but couldn't remember the name of it - I know of someone already using this option. As for the mobo, I only have one PCI free as the single PCIe slot is so close to the other free PCI that the GFX card blocks it completely.

I would think you should be able to get a PCI card in there as the 7600GT is a single slot cooler (unless you have one with a custom cooler) it may be tight though by the sounds of it.

The TripleHeadToGo can be gotten on OcUK as well in case your wondering where to buy one.
