    Nothing as spectacular as the 1980 eruption. I think there has been some activity this year. If it does go, let's hope there are no serious injuries or damage.

    There's been activity for the last two years.

    While I was living there two years ago (about 50 miles from it) once you walked outside, you could smell the sulphur. I remember when I was leaving the Pacific Northwest, the pilot took us a little nearer to get a look at it (in fairness, we were probably 20-30 miles away from it), but it did look spectacular with the smoke billowing out.
