Just caught the Xtravison ad on RTE tonight 85 Euros for both those games but are they worth it? Read mixed reviews on Carbon and already have PES6 is Fifa07 any better?

    Thanks

    Snake ;)

If you love PES, you'll probably not really like FIFA. Seems to be the general rule of thumb.

NFS is grand. A better deal is NFS and Tiger 07 for 85.

fifa is grand but if you like pes the only thing better is that it has player and team names if you really bothered with all that. Nfs is ok unless youve played any of the nfs games over recent years then its just the same old stuff rehashed. Generally avoid both they are ok at best.

I haven't played PES since I had a playstation over a year ago but when I had it I didn't like FIFA. Now that I have the 360 I think FIFA's excellent but I haven't tried PES yet.

FIFA 07's technological superiority will definitely go a long way to providing the wow factor that's needed to tempt the next gen punters, and its initial fast, exciting accessibility both off and online is something many of us have been crying out for. But as much as we wanted to hail EA's proactive progressive approach to FIFA as the great slayer of Konami's complacency, the fact remains that PES6 is marginally the better game in ways that matter.

Next year might be a different story. Watch your back, Konami.

    Says alot IMO.

True...there are some PSP,NDS and PC games in the offer as well but it is mostly PS2. no xbox360 games in the offer. pro evo 6 has gone down to 39.99 though.

If they're offering the two of them in a discounted bundle during their most busy time of year at least one of them is obviously substandard.

I suspect it's NFS Carbon, the demo i played was HORRID.

I was in XtraVision and they only had FIFA 07 for the 360 in the 2 for 85 deal.

Smyths Childers Road had Tiger Woods and Superman for 85.
