Loose Passive Slow Rollers

Playing an STT today and was up against a player who gave me a lot of difficulty.
He was to my right, and played a lot of hands, but nearly never raised (i don't think he raised til we got in the money).
A number of times he limped on the button with big pairs (QQ twice, AA once and JJ twice).
He didn't raise when he hit, simply flat calling other player's bets. He'd also flat call all the way to the river chasing his draws (and still call when he missed).

Optimal strategy against a player you can't get a read on?

I just played hyper tight in hands with him which was fairly effective.

Hard to beat someone who gets QQ's twice, JJ twice & AA in one STT but i think playing tight, Your going to have position on him a bit so dont let him limp in and making him pay when you hit the flop for chasing them draws.

Not that it really matters, but slowrolling isn't the same as slowplaying. Slowrolling is when you deliberately take your time to show the winning hand in a showdown in an attempt to piss off the other player and let them think they've one the pot.

LOL. I think it's as a result of reading so many forums that I'm making mistakes like these all the time. I'm starting to say lose instead of loose and vice versa, their when it should be there etc etc.

against a player who plays this badly, tight is not good, you should strive to get in pots with him.
