Yup, DHL, and most times the courier gives quick call to make sure you're home before he delivers. Found it very handy a fortnight ago when my monster StudioRTA Producer Station arrived and it took 3 people to get the flatpacks in the door.

Ah sure feck it anyhow. If he's too stupid to give me a shipping quote i probably dont wanna deal with him.

I love that they phone TBH, I'm at work most days and I'd prefer stuff go to my work address, but Thomann don't do that. It's something I've never figured out ... how difficult is it to include a shipping address that's separate to the billing address?

I always get Thomann to deliver to my work address. DHL seem incapable of finding my address even though I am located about a mile from the M50 and a quarter mile from the N3 at Ashtown.

Anything I've ever ordered from Thomann has arrived by either DHL, An Post, or private courier. After a bit of investigation I found that DHL are owned by the German national postal company (so some items are sent via normal post) and that sometimes DHL farm out some deliveries to pirvate, local courier companies.

I fiddled around with the DHL german website, and coudlnt figure a way of getting more than 20kg. But then i tried UPS and got a quote no bother. So we'll see what happens.

I've never had an issue with GLS tbh. Always found them to be top notch. Well, with orders from Komplett only but still, same company and they're German afaik.

Actually, if anything they seem cheaper than UPS, and weight can go right up to 50kg, which is more than enough for what im looking to buy.

    Nice one, cheers.

EDIT - F*ing thing gets sold with buyitnow about 10 min after he gives me a shipping quote...LOL, i f*ng hate ebay..and germans
