Aer Lingus is to start two new European routes next year, including its first to Lithuania.

The airline will begin a service to the Lithuanian capital Vilnius three times a week from May. It will also start services to Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain from next March, operating twice weekly.

The new routes will bring the total number in Aer Lingus's short-haul network to 67.
