Okay this is still at the musing stage but I've been doing the sums and Sky with Variety + A.N. Other pack will cost me nearly 20 euro a month less than NTL Go Digi Max.

I'd be greatful for some help on sat radio though - with NTL I've got an anlogue connection that is used for UK radio chanels. I have co-ax feed from a booster box to my own room as well as the kitchen. I'd be lost without them to be honest so I need to know if something similair is possible out the back of a Sky receiver.

Also just how hard is it to get NTL to terminate the contract!? :D

    Mike.

You can feed the audio output to video sender, or use RF2 to a TV or portable TV. About 70 stations. But that is what is on the main TV too.

Or. have QUAD LNB and one to three 70 euro FTA satreceivers off same dish to have independent radio.

The 70+ radio channels work without a subscription.

IMO Knowledge + variety is best value min package:
    The other packs:
    * Lots of free news (Sky News, Euronews, BBC News, CNN, Al Jazzera Int etc)
    * Lots of free Music (To many to list!)
    * Lots of free kids TV (Pop, Tiny Pop, CITV, Cbeebies, CBBC). TV bad for smaller ones anyway
    * The Lifestyle pack channels are mostly repeats of other channels.

I got that mix too mainly for the sport channels.

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

Cheers the second FTA box (like this one?) is the obvious way forwards for me and I'd go for the Sport biased pack along with Variety. It also means I can hook the video up to the second box for taping a channel while watching something else I guess (?).

    Mike.
