    more than likely it will be ok, but I picked up the madcatz one the other day but have an issue with it.

    I have to go to wii settings and change TV type every time I start the wii, otherwise the signal goes all crappy with interlaced lines everywhere.

    360 etc.. doesnt do it, so I'm assuming its the cable, so I'll buy the wii official cable as well just to make sure.

    well I guess I'll have to get another component cable and test it again and if the problem persists, looks like I'm gonna have to return my wii. Hopefully they'll have stock in soon :o

    The Madcatz one is about in Gamestop, also saw today an official Wii Scart Cable, which strikes me as bizarre given you get that in the box, unless it is in fact an RGB cable in a cunning disguise!

    It's rgb alright.

    Was in GAME henry street yesterday, asked for a component cable, they handed me the official rgb scart cable.


    Needless to say I was pissed. Want a component cable badly.

    Got a wii component cable today in Game™ henry st. today, it's their own brand, €30. Dawson st. branch said they were getting them on Friday..tho might be worth taking a look tomorrow....

    I havent evan try'd it out yet would you believe, i'll test it tomorrow morning, oh and i bought the second last one at bout 3pm today...just as an fyi :)
