Finally...I Got It

Yep got a call off Gamestop this morning and as of now I am a Nintendo Wii Owner.
First Impressions: Freaking Awesome! I'm loving it. I bought: Wii Console/Sports, Zelda, A Classic Controller, 2000 Wii Points and have now bought Sonic The Hedghog. Loving Zelda so far, altho am very shortly into it. Just got Wooden Sword. Really nice puzzly game since I've never played Zelda before and was a bit cautious but am really liking it. Hoping for Far Cry or Red Steel for Xmas, maybe COD. Prob two of them. But yeah really great console.
Forecast Channel is cool, couldnt believe it when Galway came up on it but rocks. Mii is cool, nice little addition and havent got Mii friends yet but soon.
Wii Sports: Yeesh, im wrecked. My hands startingt to hurt after a bit of Baseball and Boxing. Havent played the others but will tonight.
So....back to my Wii!!

Ah there is nothing like the first impressions of a new Wii owner. I felt pretty much the same as this when I got mine on the launch day. great stuff. Expect those aches and pains to be consistent with more Wii Sports over Christmas.

I asked GAME galway (for ye) out of curiousity, he said not till Late January. I said just curious, cos I just got one and he looked at me, then my gamestop bag and laughed. "Lucky Ducky!" Hell yeA!

I kinda wanted one when I first heard about them but it wasn't of major importance to me, now that they are so hard to get, I really feckin want one! Power of marketing and lack of stock? Funny, for as long as I can remember with pretty much every console its been the same...launch in very small quantities shortly before Christmas. I worked in retail when the 1st Playstation came out and I can remember parents nearly in tears in the store looking for Playstations for their kids. Anyway, tad off topic but thought I'd share that story

They're most likely due a delivery, but they're all assigned to people with preorders.

Slightly off topic, but do you have to add other ppl as well as them adding you in order them to "wander" onto your console?

Yeah you do. You both have to add one another in order to exchange messages or Miis.

Not yet, as I haven't added you yet! Both users have to add one anothers Wii codes. I won't be able to add it tonight either as its the companies christmas do tonight, but tomorrow evening I'll have to add all the wii codes below my last post there. I'll send you a message (oooh blue light!) and my Mii when I do.
