SE cash game set up question

Played in the SE for only the 4th or 5th time at weekend
I had a very good time I thought the surroundings where great and the games where really well dealt in a good atmosphere
There was one problem/drunk player who tried to cause a fuss and the CRM handled him quickly and efficiently to the point he sat back down and forgot what he was upset about and didnt cause any more problems
think i now prefer it to the Fitz

Saying that there was one thing that bugged me and i wonder is there a way it could be handled better

So i arrive in circa 2am and get a seat at table 5

So I played my way through all the tables before leaving at closing time.

What bugged me was slightly the constant moving of table but i can get over this but the moving of players who have next to no chips up tables really got my goat

At 1 point i was playing on table 2 I had 700 bills behind and the table consisted of 2 players with under 50 in front of them 1 with under 100 and 4 with over 600

Now i know it would be really unfair after a player has bust out to tell him table min has gone up and if he wants to rebuy for 50 go back to table 5 but at 1 point a player with 20 bills was moved from table 3 to 2 can the CRM not use some discretion here or at least offer players the chance to stay on the feeder table ?

Also with less than an hour to go I was moved to table 1
I was happy to be playing some bigger stacks but with some Middle eastern chap on uber aggresive tilt (dropped 1300 in my first 25mins )by the time i got a read on the table and who was raising to isolate ME chap and who was rasing with a hand it was time to go home in that time i would have banked at least another ton on Table 2 but there is no choice but to move when CRM tells you to

Anybody else feel the same way or have suggestions on a better way to deal with that many feeder games (or should i just get this moved to the stop whinging all the time thread)

I don't understand your problem? People get moved with small stacks (under the minimum of 50) to another table? I dont see why they would have to rebuy. Essentially they're still playing with their initial buyin but they've just changed table. Of course it can be frustrating when you're playing a table of shortstacks, but themz the rules....

This is standard in Dublin, not just the SE, and is always going to be a fact of life when you have a load of drunk people who like to buy in for small amounts, and who leave and arrive regularly thus creating a high turnover.

Fact of life I believe. If you want to get around this then see is anyone interested in playing a 2/5 game which will have a more stable player base, but will have less drunk idiots playing and will maybe finish earlier.

quick question what is the etiquette for leaving a game. Do you get drunk morons who luckbox their way to a huge pot and promptly leg it?

I am not saying they should have to rebuy but could we leave them at the lower table and only move up stacks appropiate to the table? or at least give them the option to decline the move

My memory is terrible for stuff like that as well, I thought you might have been the young lad. I can't picture you now.:o

That was me in the second last hand. Vinny the older guy in seat four who raised was the only one I was worried about in that hand and when you called behind with the young lad after his raise I felt I only needed to get through him to take it down.

ahhhhh the drunk shortstackers....one of the main reasons i'm all but giving up on playing live cash games. Sick of being stuck on tables full of these while all the big stacks get moved on to the next table. Meanwhile i get to play 5 hands an hour , some drunken tool is all in for E15 preflop every other hand, then insists on shaking your hand after every pot now matter how small/meaningless/ gigantic the suckout. Not to mention the arguments. No i am definetly now a convert to the table selection/multitabling wonders of the internet. Long live the machines!

What!! these are a god send, all you need is patience and sooner or later you'll get "d" hand, i am walking away with between €400 - €1000 each weekend because of these "angels" and then theres the loose "friends" around the table.

I was playing there 3 weeks ago and the first table I was on had 4 english guys who bought in for €50 each and proceeded to watch the Ashes on the telly, they had to be reminded every single time it was their turn, put out blinds etc., I just turned the volume up on the mp3 player and waited til i got moved to a table with people who wanted to play cards. I have no problem with people having short stacks, its up to them, but J*sus if you want to watch the telly get a coffee and sit on the couch and watch it.

They are a god send if they have been getting lucky before you arrive but most certainly are not when you are the newest arrival at a feeder table, the average stack is 50 and you are seeing 10 hands an hour.
