Wierd sound problem on my pc :/

    Hey all,
    The sound on my pc is a bit speeded up, its not just one particular program, anything i download or listen to on my pc is speeded up :/
    Anyone got any idea's on how to fix it? any help would be great, thanks!

    Sounds like a virus in Media Player, if you can try upgrading Windows Media Player and see if that sorts it!!

    Or it could be the actual feature in Media Player that allows you to play sounds faster than they were intended. :D

    I don't have media player here in front of me, but there is an option to configure this in there somewhere.

    It should be under the menu Play->Play Speed (thats in WMP11). See how you get on with that.
