Just start with the basics. CPU, RAM and see if u can get those fans spinning. U know, the usual problem when u just bought a new build, involving never really knowing whats wrong with it, taking it all apart, and reconnecting everything slightly differently.
Are you sure that all your Fpanel connections are right? Check your motherboard map against how you connected it up.

    Check your power switch connections.

No its just the motherboard light they use.

all my connections were perfect as it was actually working for two days before it went kaboom on me, I've taken it apart redid every connection inspected every pin reset the heatsink prayed for a simple **** up but nope I'm pretty sure its a blown PSU because its acting like its not getting power but I've no 24 pin psu lying around to test out my theory I might have to by a new one but then it could be something else its such a noggin scratcher!

A 20 pin PSU will suffice in a pinch (24 pin is just 20 pin + extra juice). You should certainly get to the point that you can rule in / out the PSU.

Did a quick test by swaping out the psu with an old craptastic one i had and wouldint you know it works......kinda, but that doesnt matter at least i know I've ****ed up the psu now and can jst buy a new one all i need to know now is how the hell I broke the last psu or was it just jesus hates me?
