Has anyone been to playa de ingles (Canary Islands) in January. Whats it like? Is it still lively at night? What is the weather like at night and day?

I was in Playa del ingles in december (form 14th to 21st I think) couple of years ago and the weather was great, 30 degrees most days. It did rain one day and night though but mostly the weather out there is spot on all year.....The night life is up to you, you can equally have a mad session or a quite time, plenty of pubs to choose from and don't be afraid to venture outside of the Irish centre!
