Honestly, can't argue with any of that.

Haven't watched The Wire but from the noise some fellow boardsies have made, its on my to-do list.

'The Wire' finally gets picked! Nothing more deserving IMO.

Good choices also in "South Park", "The Office", "Battlestar Galactica", "Heroes", and "Dexter". "24" perhaps not so much but I was mightily entertained by it this year. Best "best of" list that I've seen so far for 2006.

About time the wire gets some recognition! if you havn't seen it...watch it! And watch it from the start,seasons 1 and 2 are out on dvd and season 3 is out early next year.

Battlestar Galactica,Dexter and Heroes are shows you must watch as well. Very good...especially Dexter and BSG.

The west wing was also a brilliant show as well. I never watched it when it was on but I got the seasons 1-6 boxset for a bargain and then i got season 7 on its own. watched them all through. Brilliant show...again I would advise you watch it!

Never liked either of the offices either. South park i dont watch often but when i do it is hilarious.

Very good picks..

Although i think BSG has had a very weak third season.. with the beginning of the season on New Caprica up as far as 'Exodus' (highlight of the season) and the boxing episode being two particular lowpoints.

Great to see 'Dexter', 'Heroes' and 'The Office' get recognition though - 3 of the best shows around at the moment along with 'Prison Break'

Speaking of which, 'Prison Break' hasn't been included this year either. Second season is every bit as good as the first.. and in some respects, better! Criminal it hasn't been included 2 years in a row..

'Friday Night Lights' however has turned even more cliché ridden by the week!
